My music is a melting pot of genres, styles and influences. I defy pigeonholing simply because I don't know any other way to do it. There are so many kinds of music that I love - so many ways to sing a song and let the emotion escape. I am a free spirit in so many ways, and it creeps into my music. Welcome to my little place... I am slowly building this site, so bear with me please. As I make more music, it will be added to the music page as well as the lyrics page. Music and Soul
Music is a beautiful release. Things going wrong in life can sometimes feel better with just the right song, just the right melody. It is my goal to make music that people can 'feel'. The songwriters I admire most are all people who write from their heart, not based on what they think will sell, or what they think others want to hear.
When I write a song, it's my hope that maybe someone who listens will be able to draw on the emotion I was feeling at that moment... to feel some solace in that they are not alone when they feel low. I want to connect with people on a basic level, in a way that transcends language barriers and culture barriers.
If I can do that, I've accomplished what I set out to.
